Happy New Year to everyone!

So... any ideas track- or other-wise speak up now pls.
Unless we start seeing some fresh blood I'd like to do away with the handicaps.
Maybe a spec season (everyone in Ferraris?)

I'm willing to go with most anything, no handicaps sounds good. All in same car be ok too but it is fun to race against the different cars. Just would like to see more drivers.

Hi guys,

Speaking as one who only made three races last season and with limited time, it's far easier for me to make the races using original tracks or well known addons. I don't think we've ever run a single-make spec season. With so few drivers I think it might add a little novelty and if fuel handicaps are not used, it would at least help to even things out a bit.

Hmmmm...... I think it's just three or four of us guys, and I'm sorta part time. Given that, I think whatever makes you want to turn up each week is a go.

Nobody's been screaming for the season to start, so we wait for Bill to come back?
65V2 Rank Season, Open chassis ok for everyone? I don't think a team championship would be viable with so few regular runners.
I'm on iGOR for fun runs tonight if anyone's interested.

Hey Guys;  Buenas dias!

Just an update:  I'm home for a few days,  flew in for a couple of photo shoots.  Need a few more pesos for beer and tequila.  Since my clients are happy now, I'm flying back to Mexico for a few more weeks,  just need a bit more of those 75 degree days, mixed with water, wind and stirred well!

Open season sounds like fun for YAOL 35.  If you guys are ready to burn rubber, go for it and I'll catch up when I get back.  Or, I'll let you know as soon as I return.  Hasta!

I'll send out a newsletter to let people know who don't check the forum often that we are discussing a new sesason.

For people who do see this, I guess the most important thing to decide is what car/cars we are driving.

Welcome back, Bill. Hope everybody's had a good break and batteries are all recharged.
I've had a great time cheering on all of our athletes in Vancouver and Whistler. Thank you CTV
for all the web feeds, being able to watch the Games WITHOUT the commentators has been a treat!
(If the name Vic Rauter means anything to you you'll know what I mean Tongue )

Sounds like we're all ok with a 65v2 Rank season. Do we want to do a:

1) totally open run-wut-ya-brung,
2) pick a car and stick with it, or
3) spec season (everyone in same car), if so, which one?

As far as handicaps go, until our numbers are back up, I'd rather not go there.

note: I just tried to reach Speedcenter8, the server we've been using, with no result. I'll keep trying.

Cyas on track soon! (Mar. 11, to be confirmed, give ppl a bit to shake out cobwebs and rust)
Dean_0 and I are on iGOR most nights, c'mon along for some funruns

Update: Speedcenter8 is beset with problems, server owner is working on it. Speedcenter7 is available on Thursdays so looks like
that will be our option, for now at least. I will post the IP (for those wishing to direct-connect) in advance.

Test run this Thurs (the 4th) regular time, any track requests?

I still like the idea of a spec season, Ferrari? (although it's not my favorite car, mainly because I haven't driven it much). no handicaps.  But any kind of season is fine.

Speedcenter7 IP is 71.203.220.84

It's up for some Clermont65 runs right now, can change easily.

Cyas on track I hope

Hi guys! Passing here to give some signs of life Grin

Well, as I said some time ago, I have a new job, so the times of the races are a little complicated to me, but recently here in Brazil we finished the 'summer time', so the races will start at 00:30 am for me, instead of 1:30 am.

I don't know if I will be able to race every event, but I think it'll be possible to join some races during next season Wink

About the way we're going to race this season, for me it doesn't matter which car to use, or the type of season. I'm sure that, anyway, we'll have a very nice season.

See ya on track!
